OCP 10g met visie, kennis en resultaten in grid, ASM en RAC.
Sinds augustus 2008 ben ik werkzaam als Oracle Database Consultant bij Whitehorses.
Als project DBA ben ik veelal werkzaam in high-availability omgevingen met Oracle RAC en Weblogic. Wat mij binnen dit soort projecten vooral trekt is de aandacht voor het database gebruik qua performance en optimalisatie van oplossingen met behulp van (Java) ORM- en transactieframeworks. Hierbij is de samenwerking van belang tussen de DBA en de Ontwikkelaar zodat er geen 'over de schutting' cultuur gaat ontstaan.
Op het moment ben ik bij diverse klanten bezig om ze te helpen en begeleiden bij het beheer van hun Oracle RAC en GRID omgevingen, maar ook migraties en onderhoud zijn aan de orde van de dag.
